MBP® General Information

Our bones are amazing. They provide support and protection for our body as we go about our daily lives. What you may not know is that our bones undergo a constant, gradual process of regeneration. Bones are created from living cells and continually regenerate themselves through a process known as bone metabolism. Bone metabolism involves the destruction of old bone (bone resorption) and the creation of new bone (bone formation).

There are cells that handle each process. The first is called Osteoclasts (for bone resorption) and the second is Osteoblast (bone formation). Osteoblast cells produce collagen, which is the basic building material of bones. When osteoblasts produce collagen, calcium from the bloodstream attaches to the collagen to form new bone material.

So here’s how it works.

MBP® is a mixture of proteins existing in cow milk. Many years of research & development have found that this special protein mixture has the ability to optimize the regeneration process in our bones.

MBP® does this by regulating the activity of bone-destroying osteoclast cells, while also increasing the number of osteoblast cells to stimulate the production of collagen. In other words, MBP® helps regulate the breakdown of the old bone and provides the ingredients necessary to build the new.
